Broadband TV News: Museum TV launches in Netherlands and Germany via M7

Story from Broadband TV News:

Museum TV is launching in the Netherlands and Germany on April 1, the Secom Group channel and its partner THEMA, a subsidiary of the Canal+ Group, announced. The channel will now be available on the Canal+ group’s M7 network.

“After successful launches on Odido and Breedband Helmond, this new expansion is a key step in establishing Museum TV in the Netherlands,” said the channel in a statement.

The move follows a satellite distribution agreement with M7 Deutschland, which puts the channel on its Eutelsat 9B multiplex. The signal of Museum TV is encoded with the Conax system (CAID 0B00).

The distribution satellite signal was previously provided by A1 Broadcasting on the same satellite. It is expected that A1 capacity will end soon.

Museum TV HD broadcasts programmes with audio tracks in English, French and Russian. DVB subtitles in Greek and Korean are also available.
