Broadband TV News: SkyShowtime offers 40% cut in subscription rates

SkyShowtime has launched a new promotional offer for new and selected returning customers that reduces the cost of its standard plans by 40%.

The limited time offer is available from today (14 May) through to 30 June 2025. It is currently running in the Czech Republic, where Parabola first reported the story.

The offer is available to all customers who subscribe to a monthly subscription on the Standard or Premium plan through the SkyShowtime website and app stores (Apple and Google Play).

The price of a subscription with the 40% discount applied is for the Standard plan is CZK 130 and CZK 179 for the Premium plan. Normally, the plans cost CZK 219 and CZK 299, respectively.

When the subscription ends, it will automatically renew at the regular price of the selected plan. The subscription may be cancelled by the customer at any time.

The Standard plan allows a subscriber to stream ad-free content on up to two devices simultaneously and download up to 30 titles for offline viewing. The premium plan provides streaming up to 4K resolution, up to five screens at once, and 100 downloaded titles for viewing without an internet connection.

SkyShowtime is joint venture between Comcast and Paramount Global.
