Trade association NLconnect has closed a deal with Viaplay on behalf of the smaller providers in its membership.It means the linear channel Viaplay TV will be available to the providers from the weekend in time for the Imola Grand Prix. The motor sport continues to be a big draw in the Netherlands, thanks to the popularity of driver Max Verstappen.“We are happy that we were able to close this deal for our smaller members, so that their customers can hopefully see Max Verstappen win this weekend,” said Mathieu Andriessen, director of NLconnect. It was previously announced that the channel will be available from several larger providers, who are also part of the NLconnect membership base.The NLconnect Content Group consists of: Kabelnoord, TriNed, Stichting Kabelnet Veendam (SKV), SKP, Kabeltex, CAI Harderwijk, PLINQ, InCompany Media, Jonaz, Fiber Groep, Matrix, Breedband Helmond, EK-Media, A2B Internet and Budget Thuis.
