Warner Bros. Discovery has picked up Film.UA‘s Ukrainian psychological thriller Between Us for the CEE region.The U.S. giant will air the movie about two strangers thrust into an unexpected alliance on HBO Max streaming and linear channel Cinemax across a wealth of territories from May.From Solomiya Tomaschuk and Yurii Dunaiev, Between Us stars well-known Ukrainian movie actors Anastasia Pustovit and Irma Vitovska as Sasha and Anya. Sasha is a party girl who snorts cocaine, has sex with her tattoo artist and crawls into her closet at night owing to panic attacks. At a maternity clinic, she meets Anya, a 50-year-old gynecologist with marital problems of her own.Warner Bros. Discovery in the region by Ukrainian outfit Film.UA, following Felix Austria, also known as Maid in Law.“Warner Bros.
