Telia Company has today received regulatory approval from the Danish Competition Council for the DKK 6.25 billion (£7.7 million) sale of its Danish unit to the integrated energy and telecommunications provider Norlys.When the deal for Telia Denmark was first announced in April 2023, the Swedish telco said the plan is in line with its strategy to focus on markets where there is no clear path to securing and defending leading market positions.Telia now expects the transaction to close in early April.
