Deadline: Investigation Discovery Hires Ample’s Kathryn Vaughan As Production Chief

Investigation Discovery has a new production chief.

Kathryn Vaughan reports to Jason Sarlanis, President of Turner Networks, Investigation Discovery and HLN, Linear & Streaming.

She joins from Ample Entertainment, where she was Head of Development and Current Programming and oversaw documentaries including Peacock’s Violent Minds: Killers on Tape and Roku’s Morimoto’s Sushi Master as well as ID series such as The Price of Glee, Death by Fame and Murder in the Heartland.

Prior to Ample, she was President of Good Caper Content, which she launched as ITV America’s true crime and investigative documentary arm, overseeing series including Taken at Birth (TLC) and True Life Crime (MTV).
