In this position, which has been newly created, Benesch will lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns for Peacock series and films programming.He will report to Chief Marketing Officer Shannon Willett, whose team has been undergoing an organizational restructure, beginning last year with the hire of Zaid Al-Asady.Most recently, Benesch worked as the Global Head of Series Marketing at Amazon MGM Studios, where he oversaw strategy and development for all the streamer’s originals. He joined Amazon as the Head of Comedy, working across both TV and film.Prior to that, he was the Head of Comedy at Netflix for around six years. His team launched “Netflix Is A Joke,” which is still the creative team behind the streamer’s comedy launches.He previously served as VP of Creative Marketing at Funny of Die and has also worked at Creative Artists Agency, Deutsch LA and Saatchi & Saatchi LA.
