Broadband TV News: Tet TV and Netflix create Latvian partnership

Latvian television service provider Tet has entered into a new partnership with Netflix.

In means subscribers will now be given the option to purchase Tet TV together with Netflix in a single package, rather than subscribing to them separately.

Three new packages now include Netflix; Tet films and series, Tet original content, the most popular TV channels, HBO offer, etc.

“We are constantly working to ensure that viewers have access to not only the most exciting television content, but we are also thinking about how to make their everyday lives more convenient – so that the most diverse offer of television channels, films and series is available in one place. We are pleased that Tet has created one of such solutions in cooperation with Netflix. This will be a new friendship that is beneficial to everyone – viewers, TV content presenters and creators,” said Uldis Tatar?uks, Chairman of the Board of Tet.

“We are pleased that our cooperation with Telia Group is expanding to include Tet and offering new and creative opportunities for our viewers in Latvia,” adds Patrik Dankward, Head of Business Development for Netflix in the Nordics and Benelux. “This allows popular series such as Squid Game, Emily in Paris and The Night Agent to become even more accessible to every viewer in Latvia.

Existing Netflix users will be able to add their existing account to the new, subscription, which will retain all user history.
