The Disney Channel can now also be received on the Sky Q IP box.

The free-TV channel is part of internet TV offerings from Sky Deutschland including the Sky TV package, which is aimed specifically at tenants currently tied to a cable TV subscription. From 1 July 2024, they will be able to freely choose their TV provider following a change in the German law.

In addition to the Disney Channel, Sky’s Entertainment customers also have access to children’s channels Nick Jr, Nick Toons, Cartoon Network and Cartoonito as well as the KiKA player.

“With the Disney Channel, we are once again strengthening our versatile entertainment offering for the whole family. With Sky Q via the internet, we offer a streaming platform that is unique in terms of content diversity, with the most important free-TV channels, the entire Sky and partner channel offering as well as countless apps and media libraries,” said Evelyn Rothblum, Chief Transformation Officer at Sky Deutschland.
