Klein will oversee theatrical distribution licensing and sales operations across the U.S. and Canada for the studio and its labels.He’ll be reporting to Sony’s President of Distribution Adam Bergerman.Klein counts over two decades of experience in content distribution and theatrical sales. Most recently, he served as VP of Sales at Paramount Pictures, where he oversaw all theatrical distribution licensing for territories across the domestic market. During his 13-year tenure at the studio, he played a key role in the releases of blockbuster titles such as Top Gun: Maverick, Mission Impossible, Transformers, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Wolf of Wall Street, Interstellar, and A Quiet Place, among others.Prior to Paramount, Klein was Branch Manager of Sales at The Weinstein Company, where he managed sales, licensing, and holdover negotiations for all TWC film titles. Before that, he served as Sales Manager at MGM, overseeing theatrical licensing across multiple divisions and developing revenue through repertory theatres for the MGM Library.
