Story from Broadband TV News:

Zygmunt Solorz has been dismissed as the head of the supervisory board of Cyfrowy Polsat.

Solorz, who holds 62% of the company directly and indirectly, was among a number of management changes announced Tuesday. He is being replaced by Daniel Kaczorowski, according to a stock exchange release. Kaczorowski has advised Polsat Plus Group companies, including in particular Cyfrowy Polsat, on the acquisition of Netia, Telewizja Polsat and the Interia Group.

Mirosław Błaszczyk was dismissed from the position of President of the Management Board, and telecoms lawyer Andrzej Abramczuk was appointed in his place.

Solorz has been at the centre of a Succession-style feud involving his children and current wife.

Last autumn his children sent a letter to Cyfrowy Polsat management, expressing fears of attempts to take control of the family foundations that ultimately own Cyfrowy Polsat and utility company ZE PAK.

According to the letter, the children claimed Justyna Kulk was exercising undue influence over the 68-year old billionaire.
