Vodafone Deutschland’s 11 million cable customers will continue to be able to receive RTL Deutschland’s streaming and TV services.The media company and the telecommunications group have renewed their partnership, which is to be expanded in the future.In addition to the RTL+ streaming app, the agreement also covers RTL Deutschland’s nine free-TV and four pay-TV channels, which will continue to be distributed by Vodafone. These are the free-TV services RTL, VOX, Nitro, ntv, Super RTL, RTLup, RTLzwei, VOXup and Toggo plus as well as the pay-TV channels RTL Crime, RTL Living, GEO Television and VOD service GEO WILD.“We are pleased to continue our long-standing collaboration with RTL Deutschland. It’s a win-win situation for both sides: our TV customers will continue to have access to RTL’s attractive entertainment offerings. And they benefit from cloud-based recording options and other add-on features on GigaTV.
