Most recently vice president, consumer & content marketing at Peacock, Hughes oversees brand, media, and program marketing for MGM+ originals. She’s also responsible for driving consumer awareness and engagement through integrated communication plans, creative advertising, and strategic collaboration with Amazon’s cross-functional teams. She reports into Michael Wright, head of MGM+, who announced the hire in a memo to staff. Hughes began her new role on August 26.During her time at Peacock, Hughes was instrumental in launching the streaming service, and leading comprehensive marketing campaigns for originals including Bel-Air, Poker Face, Girls5eva, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, The Traitors, Saved by the Bell, and Twisted Metal. Previously, Hughes was the marketing director, original series at Netflix where she spearheaded media and marketing campaigns for Stranger Things, Ozark, GLOW, and Queer Eye.
