Broadband TV News: VodafoneZiggo appoints Thomas Helbo as Chief Technology Officer

Thomas Helbo has been named as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at VodafoneZiggo. He succeeds Eben Albertyn, whose departure from the Dutch operator was announced in July 2023.

Helbo has been Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer at TDC NET, COO at JT Global and CTO at Tele2 in Sweden.

In his new role, Helbo will manage the Technology department, with a strong focus on automation and simplification of processes. This includes the implementation of VodafoneZiggo’s renewed strategy, delivering customers secure and seamless connections via the network and IT platforms. He’ll also ensure that VodafoneZiggo remains at the forefront of technological progress and operational efficiency.
