Broadband TV News: Max announces pricing details for Poland

Max, the rebooted streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery, will make its debut in Poland on 11 June 2024.

Three subscription tiers will be available starting at PLN 19.99 per month for the entry level.

Each of the three base packages will be expandable with an additional ‘TV and Sport Channels’ package to gain access to an extensive library of up to 29 TV channels and live sporting events.

Max will feature content from HBO, Warner Bros, and locally TVN.

The Basic Package, which is also available for PLN 199 per year, provides full HD quality including linear channel TVN HD. Two simultaneous streams can be used.

The Standard Package is PLN 29.99 per month or PLN 299 per year. From this level on demand content is commercial free and access to linear channels HBO, HBO 2, HBO 3 and TVN HD is granted.

The Premium package is PLN 49.99 per month or PLN 499 per year: Dolby Atmos sound is now available on selected titles and up to 100 pieces can ne downloaded.

Available as an add-on to any base package for PLN 20 per month the TV and Sports Channels’ add-on package adds 25 live channels: TVN24, TVN24 BiS, CNN, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2, TVN 7, TTV, METRO, TVN Style, TVN Turbo, TVN Fabula, Warner TV, HGTV, Travel Channel, Food Network, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, ID, TLC, Discovery Channel, Discovery Historia, Discovery Life, Discovery Science and DTX.

Current users of Player, which along with Max is part of the streaming portfolio of Warner Bros. Discovery, will have the opportunity to take advantage of special promotion.

Current HBO Max users will retain their previous subscription plan, the price of the service, features and functionality of the platform, including profiles, viewing history and titles in the ‘continue watching’ and ‘my list’ sections – all of which will be waiting for them on the Max platform. On the day of the launch of the Max service, HBO Max subscribers will need to download the new app and log in to their account to access the new service.
