Canal+ Group and long-term partner Warner Bros. Discovery have renewed their agreement for the broadcast of first-run movies.

This multi-year agreement allows Canal to continue to offer subscribers exclusive access to Warner Bros titles just six months after their theatrical release in France. Subscribers will be able to enjoy recent must-see films such as Barbie, the biggest US box office success of 2023, alongside Wonka, The Flash, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Blue Beetle , The Color Purple and The Nun: The Curse of Saint Lucia.

Warner Bros. Discovery also has one of the largest catalogues in the world featuring numerous franchises and successful films (Batman, Lethal Weapon, Ocean’s Eleven, Matrix, Mad Max Fury Road, Gatsby, Argo, Zodiac , etc.) and award-winning filmmakers around the world, including Clint Eastwood, Elia Kazan and Stanley Kubrick.

In a statement, Canal said the agreement reaffirms its position as a “privileged partner of cinema”.
