Channels including Eurosport, CNN, Discovery and Digital channels from the national broadcaster MTV have been offered under the Antero brand.“With a heavy heart, we are bidding farewell to Antero, which has become a beloved and well-known brand over the years. Due to continuously rising content costs, the distribution of pay-tv channels on the antenna TV network was unfortunately no longer economically feasible. However, Digita’s current pay-tv customers can switch to Telia,” says Digita’s Director of Marketing and Business, Ella Kirjasniemi.“We offer antenna tv customers an attractive option to continue enjoying interesting domestic and international content. We ensure that the transition of customers to our services happens smoothly and that the content is visible without interruption,” adds Telia’s Director of Broadband and TV Business, Kalle Muhonen.The move does not affect the free-to-air line-up, which will continue.
