Canal+ grew revenues across all of its activities, contributing €4,720 million to parent Vivendi in the first nine months of the year.The media giant is holding a shareholders meeting on 9 December that is expected to approve a split of Canal+ and Havas from Vivendi.Canal+ Europe’s activities increased by 3.1% year-on-year, driven in particular by an increase in the subscriber base in France.Revenues from Canal+ Africa and Asia increased by 4.2%, driven by further growth in the subscriber base in Africa.There was also growth for both Dailymotion and Studiocanal.
