Broadband TV News: HGTV launches in Estonian market

Warner Bros. Discovery and Estonian operator AS STV have announced the launch of lifestyle channel HGTV.

The move is part of an extension of the two companies’ partnership in Estonia.

AS STV subscribers will also continue to enjoy channels Discovery’s linear portfolio, which includes Turner brands such as Cartoon Network and Cartoonito, and Eurosport, with full coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“We are really happy to extend our long-term partnership with AS STV in Estonia and to bring to the subscribers one of our newest premium channels-HGTV. This channel is both inspirational and aspirational and is focused on home renovation and building, buying, and selling, dream homes, and a glamorous lifestyle,” says Slavena Dimova, Distribution Manager NEE at Warner Bros. Discovery.

HGTV which will be available in both English and Russian for AS STV subscribers.

Our goal is to fulfill our commitment to providing the best content in the most convenient form by expanding our strategic partnership with Warner Bros. Current HGTV Originals include Renovation Wild, Fixer Upper, The Flipping El Moussas, House Hunters, Cristina and the Coast, Ugliest House in America and My Lottery Dream Home.
