The channels from A+E Networks Germany will continue to be available on Sky Deutschland’s pay-TV platform.The German pay-TV operator and A+E Networks Germany have signed a new multi-year agreement covering the distribution of The History Channel and Crime + Investigation on Sky in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.As part of the collaboration, which has been in place for more than 14 years, Sky customers will be able to watch selected programmes on demand via Sky Q and WOW (Germany), Sky X (Austria) and Sky Show (Switzerland) in addition to the linear channels.A separate agreement covers the advertising sales of The History Channel and Crime + Investigation through Sky Deutschland subsidiary Sky Media.The move follows Sky’s expansion of the cable distribution of The History Channel in spring 2023.
