Sony Pictures Television and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced an extension of their content agreement across Central Eastern Europe which will see titles from the Sony Pictures Entertainment slate of upcoming feature films and selected TV series shown exclusively on both HBO channels and the HBO Max streaming platform across the region.The deal will bring Sony Pictures Entertainment titles to Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Kosovo.Commenting on the development, Mark Young, executive VP, networks & distribution, Sony Pictures Television EMEA, said: “As an independent studio with a hotly anticipated pipeline of Hollywood feature films and television series ahead of us, and an immense wealth of beloved classics in our Sony Pictures library, we are in a unique position to connect great content with audiences the world over.
